PLAN
OUT
Plans for the various buildings designed by Mr. James Lee, of T. Y. Lee and Sons, have already been approved by the executive com mittee of the association.
Piling, necessary because of the site's nearness to the Klang River, is now going on. and the project is expected to be completed ten months after site works have begun.
The layout of the buildings, all in reinforced concrete, has the soaring 11-storeyed hostel and administra tive block at the back of the site.
The great hall wil stand in front of the hostel block on one side. The classroom block will be some dis- tance away from the hostel block and parallel to it.
Between the hostel building and the classroom block, will be the cafe. teria, jutting out from one side of the great hall and the swimming pool, Details of the various buildings
are:
HOSTEL: Will have accom. modation for 600 boys and 200 girls in dormitories; administrative' offices for the Association's head- quarters; two suites for visiting dignitaries; a flat for the hostel warden; library; and lounge.
