A site of about 16 acres at Tsuen Wan. in the
the New Ter- ritories, is provisionally reserved for the Hong Kong Housing Authority which is now preparing to proceed with the first stage of this develop-

"About one-third of the area can be reclaimed from the sea within the next twelve months and plans for development of this section are now being prepared," states the Housing Authority in its latest report.
Preliminary investigations envisage the construction, in the initial stage. of about 1.000 flats to house some 6.000 people.
