Flanning. The house is sited on the main road at Sale, Cheshire, and has been planned to accommodate an architec- tural lecturer and his wife, but there is no family; and, also, the plan and equipment take into consideration the subsequent possibility of the house being sold. With this in view, flues have been constructed in the kitchen and lounge, although at present heating throughout is by ther- mostatically controlled electric heaters. The garage is brought well forward, and there is ample turning space in front, allowing easy access from the main Manchester- Altrincham road.
