Arrangement of the class rooms on the seventh floor, which is the largest dimension

of the building.

The overall height of the building will be 165 feet from Glenealy to the roof of the main portion of the structure 77 feet above Robinson Road. The total floor area, ex- cluding playgrounds, will be 43,535 sq. ft. with thirty classrooms, 2,530 sq. ft. of laboratories. 1,000 sq. ft. of special teach- ing rooms and 1,200 sq. ft. for the library with 3,040 sq. ft. of floor area for teachers room and administration offices. The covered playground areas will be 4,295 sq. ft.

All this will be included in the total cubage of the building of over 630,000 cu. ft.

The estimated cost of construction will be over $800,000 which includes the cost of $50,000 for the two goods lifts. The cost per classroom works out to just over $28,000 or just under $600 per pupil.

The second and third floors, which will be slightly larger as the building follows the slope of the hill, will each have in addition to two classrooms and a teachers' room, additional space for a teachers room or a large store room.

At the fourth floor level, the area is still larger and will contain another covered playground with room for a games store and a large changing room. The fifth floor will have space for three classrooms, tea- chers' room, the main primary school office, Headmaster's office, reception room and a large store room.

The sixth floor, the largest dimension of the building, will have three classrooms, a teachers' room, а large handicraft room and a substantial sized staff room. The seventh floor will be similar in area to the sixth floor and will contain six classrooms and the teachers' room. The entire eighth floor will be occupied by the Secondary School playground which will consist of a covered area under the Robinson Road section of the building, and the open play- ground which is the roof of the Glenealy part of the school building.
