The Floatlite Power Vent tangen- tial extractor fan has been designed to provide controlled ventilation up to an extraction rate of 10,000 c.f.h. (283 cu. m. per hr.) of stale air. It can be supplied mounted in any of the exist ing range of Floatlite g.r.p., aluminium or galvanised-steel kerbs with standard rooflights.

The vent itself operates 230/250-v. 50-Hz. a.c. and can be con- trolled by a cord or a remote switch. Besides the quoted extraction rate, it is claimed to be capable of delivering 7,000 c.f.h. (198 cu. m. per hr.) against winds of 15 m.p.h. (24.1 k.p.h.).
For maintenance purposes, the white plastic grille unclips from the casing of similar material and the fan drum can then be pulled out. Bolts secure the fan unit to the kerbs which are available in a variety of sizes be- tween 2 ft. by 2 ft. (610 by 610 mm) and 8 ft. by 4 ft.
