cluded are a library, an assembly hall with stage and covered play area un- derneath, and the necessary adminis trative and staff offices, general stores, toilets and changing rooms and two caretakers' quarters.

The site at Kwun Tong faces Kung Lok Road, with Hong Lee Road and Hong Ning Road along each side of the boundary. It is a rectangular shape but falls some 35ft. from a rock face at the rear to Kung Lok Road, and 60ft. from Hong Lee Road to Hong Ning Road.

With such difficult contours, it was

necessary to form the site into two levels, a lower one for car parking and the larger and higher plateau for the school buildings.

The layout of the buildings, which has been adopted as a standard plan, is generally U-shaped and comprises an L-shape five-storey classroom block with two-storey assembly hall/ gymnasium forming the other arm of the U. Main teaching classrooms have a north-south aspect and are free from the noise of the special classrooms which are contained in the other wing. The assembly hall is located next to the main entrance, also to divorce it from the main classroom block.

Circulation is by means of exterior corridors on the 'courtyard' face of
