THE Lei Roi Division of Westing- house Air Brake Co., Sidney, Ohio, USA, has intro- duced a new 450 c.f.m. rotary port- able air compres-
sor.
It is a two stage rotary machine. The power plant is a GM 4-71 diesel engine, and the compressor oper- ates at 1,330 r.p.m. Automatic safe- ly shutdown de- vices protect
the machine from dam- age in case of high compressor air tem- perature, high en- gine water tem- perature, or low engine oil pressure.

Additional safety features include a minimum pressure valve and an automatic dump valve on the com- pressor end.
A spring loaded swiveling tow eye eases travel, and the drawbar can be locked in a raised position for safety. Radiator shutters are opened and closed by a single lever. Accessibility for servicing is provided by large folding side panels. The 450 is available on four 7.50 X 16. 8 ply tyres or wood skid mounted.

CRAWLER tractoR Produced in Loader and Angledozer Versions
A CRAWLER tractor in loader and angledozer versions has been an- nounced by Massey-Ferguson (Ex- port) Ltd., Coventry, UK. Designated the MF 3366, it is powered by a Per- kins 75 h.p. diesel. The loader is equipped with 11⁄2 cu. yd. bucket and both the loader and angledozer are fitted with three-shank rippers.
Features of the 3366 include tor- que converter, hydraulic shuttle, two- speed gear shift giving an average 19 per cent. increase in reverse speed over the forward speed and hydraulic assisted power steering.
The engine and all components are mounted with silent blocks to elimin- ate operational vibrations and а blower-type fan fitted to the engine directs heat and dust away from the operator.
The welded box section loader is carried on two mounting points on each side of the tractor, one on the front cross bar and one on the chassis final drive housing. All lifting and roll-back rams are double acting. Dump height is 127.5 in. with a reach of 38 in. at a 45 degree bucket dump angle.
