The Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd. supplied much of the equipment for the New Ocean Terminal. York airconditioning has been installed throughout. For fire detection and prevention Merryweather hydrant valves and Angus Fire Armour drencher valves and heads have been used. The entire electrical system was installed by Jardines, with lighting fittings from Thorn Electrical Industries Ltd., and Rham Industries Pty. Ltd.; conduits from Longmore Brothers Ltd.; conduit accessories from Fitter & Poulton Ltd.; cable trays from D. Richardson & Sons Pty. Ltd.; power and lighting cables from Associated Electrical Industries Ltd.; MICC cables from Pyrotenax Cables Pty. Ltd.; mould circuit breaker from J. A. Crabtree Co. Ltd.; fuse switches from English Electric Co. Ltd.; transformers from English Electric Co. Ltd.; motor control centres from Alan C. Hirst & Co. Ltd.; and distribution boards from J.A. Crabtree Co. Ltd. and English Electric Co. Ltd.
