BOLD vertical sunbreakers will be a feature of the main facades of the new Apex Bank, to be built in Jalan Ipoh, Singapore, at a cost of about $400,000.

BROADCASTING CENTRE TENDERS
MALAYSIAN Government has called for tenders to build the first phase of the M$34 million Malaysian broadcast- ing centre near Petaling Jaya.
This stage includes a television house, a ten-storey administrative block and a store building and sub-station. Tenders for the mechanical and electrical installation work have already been received from foreign and local firms.
The total cost of phase 1 will be about M$9.34 mil- lion, of which $4.8 million will be for the buildings. Phase II will involve a radio house and an engineering block. Each phase will take about 18 months to complete.
N.J. Pappas and Associates, of Canada, are the consultants.
CITY HALL CONTRACT
CONTRACT for the first phase of the new city hall complex to be built at Quezon City, Philippines (illustrated in the May issue of FEA & B) has been let to the Weldon Con- struction Corporation of Manila.
The complex will comprise a 16-storey building for administration and five smaller buildings to house the various departments of the city government,
Some P5 million has been allocated for work to start and further phases will be carried out "when funds become available". The architect is Ruberto C. Gaite.
KUALA LUMPUR AIR TERMININAL
THE article on the Kuala Lumpur Air Terminal which appeared in the June issue of FEA & B contained errors in the text. It was prepared by a correspondent without reference to the architects or authorities concerned.
