freshly-laid concrete slabs. By eliminating irregularities left by tamping, it facilitates subsequent power trowel finishing and reduces wear on the power blades.
Overall dimensions of the float shoe are 3 ft. 6 in. by 8 in., while the handle assembles from three separate sections to a maximum length of 18 ft. Durable and resistant to corrosion. the whole assembly weighs 16 lb.

TO SIMPLIFY and rationalise stock- ing, and installation, the Royal Ven- ton Status w.c. suite is supplied with two outlet pipes.
The plumber fits the appropriate pipe to the pan, which is of syphonic type with a high outlet, to form whichever sort of trap he requires either P. S. or a left or right-hand turn. The unused outlet is discarded.
Installation is further simplified by the provision of a 1⁄2 in. margin in the collar of each trap to take up any misalignment between the level of a pan that is being replaced and that of the Status pan.
The suite incorporates a standard Shannon close-coupled cistern of the type used with all the other close- coupled pans in the Royal Venton range. Including the cistern, it mea- sures overall 27% in. from front to back, 301⁄2 in. high and 211⁄2 in. wide. It comes in a choice of green, yellow, pink, turquoise, blue or white.
