New Ranges Feature Lead-crystal Glass
THREE ranges of lead-crystal glass lighting fittings, the Starlite, Jetlite and Regentlite, have been introduced by Clarke (Electrical) Co.. Ltd.. London.
The Starlite range includes single-. 3-, 5-, 8-, and 12-light pendants, 3- and 5-light flush ceiling fittings with matt nickel arms and cups from a black centre base; and single-, 2-, 3- and 4-light flush fittings which can also be used as wall brackets. In- dividual lights, to take 40w. ball lamps, are 9 in, high, including a 6 in. polished aluminium cylinder; the suspension and cups of the wall and flush fittings are also aluminium.

The uncovered insulation is placed in position on the pipe and adhesive applied along one edge only. The two edges are then pressed together to seal. The p.v.c. covered insula- tion has a masked overlap which, af- ter the removal of the masking, re- quires only light pressure to make it adhere.

WALL COVERING
Vinyl Fabric Unaffected by Dampness
A NEW vinyl wall covering fabric produced in Australia has been re- leased in Hong Kong.
The fabric is known as Nylex and is manufactured in Melbourne by Moulded Products (Australasia) Ltd., under licence from the US firm of L. E. Carpenter and Co. Agents are Holland-China Trading Co., Ltd.
It is said to stand up well to damp, humid conditions without peeling or deteriorating. The base fabric for the vinyl material is treated against rot and mildew, and is pre-shrunk. The adhesive contains a fungicide.
There are six patterns and a total of 45 colourways.
