The Twin-Cylinder Concrete Pump is based on the well-known PC.3 Type Single-Cylinder Machine, and in fact can be considered to be two such PC.3 Machines mounted on a common under-bed-frame. The Machine is so arranged that each half is capable of operating entirely independently through 7 in. i.d. Pipeline. Through sliding pinions the Units can be fully synchronised, and both Cylinders converged into one 7 in. i.d. Pipeline, through Siamese Pipe Arrangement.
The Pump is fitted with a 3 cu.yd. capacity DOUBLE REMIXER HOPPER powered by a separate 7 h.p. Gearhead Motor, and provided with a central division plate to enable one half of the Pump to be completely isolated from the other.
The whole Unit is of robust construction, and all parts subjected to wear are made from highly abrasion-resisting material.
