Kowloon stadium planned
Approval in principle has been given by Hong Kong Government to a proposal for the construc- tion of a stadium at Ho Man Tin Hill in Kowloon. The project has been included in the public works programme so that detailed planning can begin.
It is planned that the stadium should hold 35,000 in the first stage, and provide for later expansion to accommodate 50,000. An interna- tional-sized football field, spectator stands, flood- lighting, car park and modern press and radio facili- ties will be included.
