FLUORESCENT LIGHTING

Shallow Opal Diffusers May be Wall- or Ceiling-mounted

ONE- and two-lamp shallow fluores- cent fittings for 4 and 5 ft. tubes make up the Lumitron 7000 series. Suitable for ceiling or wall mounting. they can be assembled in continuous runs and used for high-intensity light- ing in offices and public buildings.

All fittings can be supplied with white opal acrylic diffusers. square or curved edges, and switch or quick start gear. The twin-lamp fittings are also available with prismatic diffuser bases. Overall measurements are 51% and 631⁄2 in. long for the 4 and 5 ft. models respectively. 41⁄2 and

SPACE HEATER

Circulates Heat at 700 cu. ft. per minute

SOME 200,000 Btu's an hour of heat is produced by the Audaheat AS200V vented space heater. The heater is designed to speed the drying and curing of concrete on building sites.

Heat is circulated at the rate of 700 cu. ft. per minute. The volume of air is bled off the main fan and mixes with the fuel, creating the fire in the combustion chamber. These hot

changer, the heat being extracted by cooling air blowing both through and over the outside of the exchanger.

The gases, which are considerably cooled then emerge from the stack to be ducted away from the heated area. The fuel tank has a capacity of 15 gallons, which enables the heater to run for 1311⁄2 hours at one filling.

Danger from carbon monoxide is eliminated and the heater allows only clean and safe heated air to circulate throughout the building.

Features include an overheat limit control and a flame failure lockout safety device. A thermostat can be fitted, so that regulated temperatures can be maintained. The heater is powered by a 220-240V 1 3 h.p.

motor.

Three types of steel roofing and cladding are made

Klip-Lok, Spandek and V-Crimp. The Klip- Lok roofing system uses concealed, shaped straps to secure the ribbed galvanized steel roof sheet to the purlins. Because of the strap, no screws or other fasteners penetrate the Klip-Lok and it may be used for roofs with as little as a 1 degree fall,

Spandek is a galvanized steel roof- ing material in a more economic price range. With its ribs giving it a squar- ed

appearance. it may be used on roofs with a fall to 3 degrees.

V-Crimp is used as a wall cladding material as well as for roofing. The groove running along the edge of the V-Crimp acts as a gutter, trapping any moisture which might be caused by the capillary action in the side overlaps.

All these materials are available in long length sheets as long as tran- sport and ease of handling will allow.

WOODWOOL SLABS

Combine Lightness and Structural Strength

WOODCEMAIR slabs, made from woodwool bonded with cement under pressure, form a permanent building material that is unaffected by damp or climatic changes. They have a strong resistance to fungal growths and are impervious to termites.

The material combines lightness with structural strength and has many

applications in building contruction. As roofing, it can be used either un- reinforced or reinforced with inter- locking steel channels. These chan- nels are so formed that they provide tongue and groove engagement be- tween adjacent slabs.

In addition, both top and bottom flanges of the channels have lipped edges which provide a permanent and positive hold between slab and chan- nel. These two features in conjunction ensure perfect alignment of the slabs, together with effective distri- bution of concentrated loads.

As a result, the slabs can have a free span of up to 12 ft. 6 in.

As partitions, the slabs can be sup- plied prefinished with a smooth sur- face ready for decoration or with various factory applied finishes such
