high mast lighting for low down

conven- ience

Mast lowered for servicing

Masts can

be sited 240 ft. apart.

Four to six lanterns

per mast.

Special lanterns for mercury or

sodium lamps.

Lanterns lowered for

easy servicing.

One mast will supply the same light as six

or more conventional columns.

Light from high masts foreshortens shadows and eliminates glare. This permits ideal light for ideal night driving on multi-level, complex road junctions in city centres, open areas and docks. During the day, appearance is improved by the use of fewer columns. Masts may be sited clear of the road structure, removing a potential traffic hazard and making maintenance at ground level safer. Mounting height is from 60 ft. to 120 ft.
