The wrought iron fence and gate entrances to the chapel open to a concrete paved walk and driveway leading to the entry vestibule which is covered by a long cantilevered canopy. Car parking spaces are set out on both sides of the chapel.

Beige-coloured granolithic marble flooring covers the vestibule, which has offices on both sides. There are four staircases flanking the lobby and leading to the balcony, conference room and dressing rooms of the choir members.

Maintenance-free materials have been used where possible in the con- struction of the chapel. It has a reinforced concrete frame and hollow concrete block walls with a plaster finish. Hardwood timber trusses over the chapel span the entire width of the_building and above these the roofing is of galvanised iron.

Elevated Rostrum

From the main floor the congrega- tion faces an elevated rostrum and choir, above which is a highly de- corative and acoustically treated ceiling. The background is Narra and Dao panellings and the central focal point is the minister's ambo or pulpit and assistant's lecterns.

All office rooms, conference halls. dressing rooms and other adjunct rooms are located in front of and behind the chapel and are directly accessible from outside and inside approaches.

Interior floors, aisles and stairways are finished with asphalt-vinyl tiles; a resilient material being chosen for acoustical reasons. All exterior en- trance vestibules and lobby floors are finished with terrazzo marble.

Loudspeakers are placed strategical- ly in concealed positions throughout the chapel. They are tuned to a de- sired volume near the choir, sound being generated through amplifiers in concealed microphones at the minis- ter's ambo, lecterns and choir.

The chapel is provided with natural light and ventilation through side-wall steel awning windows. For cooling during the summer months a fan system is installed in the main floor and balcony areas.

Wrought iron ceiling chandeliers and wall light fixtures were designed by the architect to harmonise with the interior motif. They are supported by recessed lights incorporated in the ceiling design to highlight interior details.
