Commercial Market, Shipley, England. Designed by Shingler Risdon Associates in conjunction with G. M. Baxter, Dip. Arch., A.R.I.B.A.
The origin of Wall Screens, once known by the name of Pierced Screens, has been lost in history. The Arabs multiplied the use of Pierced Screens in their decorative art during the seventh and eighth centuries and many examples exist to the present day.
Due to modern production techniques, it is now possible to produce Glazed Wall Screens in different decorative types and many colours.
