Contracts awarded
Cover: Discharge from the spillway of the 200 ft. high Pedu rockfill dam in Western Malaysia. The dam holds back some 700,000 acre feet of water in the Pedu Valley and forms part of the Muda project which provides much-needed irrigation for the plains of Kedah and Perlis. Consulting engineers to the Malaysia Government for the canals and reservoirs are Sir William Halcrow and Partners of London.
