ASIAN PAVILIONS
1. Prow shape of the Philippines pavilion, which like other Asian pavilions takes a boat shape as the basis of its design.
2. Festival boat theme used on part of the Indian pavilion. The basic structure is in the shape of cut stones with a truncated roof admitting continuous subdued light.
3. Indonesian pavilion
-
a space-frame roof above inclined walls faced with sirap wood. Concrete cantilevered beams support the whole structure.
4. Hong Kong's familiar bat-wing sails fly above simple, low profile concrete struc-
ture.
5. Burmese pavilion a reproduction of a twin-hull royal barge of the ancient King- dom of Burma. High above the vessel towers a seven-tier spire like that of a Burmese Royal Palace.
