Ask your drawing materials supplier to show you the pocket- size set 700 S3 containing 3 MARS technical pens.

This set takes up very little space on your work-table and saves many hand movements.

To change line width, it has so far been necessary to screw the cap onto one holder and unscrew the cap repeatedly from another.

All this is finished now, the caps serve as stands for the holders during the day, and only during intervals or when work is completed it is necessary to replace the caps and insert the pens in the set.

Even when the set is closed, the pens remain in a slanted position as an additional safeguard against leakage (e. g., under extreme temperature variations).

When they are. required again, MARS technical pens are imme- diately ready for use, without special preparation. Why wait until your supplier offers you the pen set 700 S3? Why not ask him for it?

since it is the oldest and largest of a series of some 25 new, reconstructed and substantially enlarged towns started little more than 20 years ago', the Institute jury report stated.

A key element in the Beersheba master plan is a new town centre building - a megastructure with an open-air gallery, stores, offices and apartments on different levels. The building is of linear design and thus can be extended down its axis through the community as required.

Several types of housing are provided, from high-rise apartments with projecting room units cantilevered from a central core to low-density 'patio houses' in a ‘carpet development'. The mas- ter plan promises to integrate older housing areas and an existing commercial-entertainment centre with the new facilities, an aspect praised by the jury.

"The jury believes Beersheba to be of inter- national significance in the evaluation of town planning', the report said. 'It represents the full spectrum for community evolution. It is in the to- tality of development of new and old, an outstand- ing symbol of a national urbanisation policy'.

The first R.S. Reynolds award for community architecture was presented in 1967 to Cumber- nauld, a new town near Glasgow, Scotland.
