The 4 additional posts of Air Traffic Control Officer Class I are required in connexion with the proposed operation of the Airport on a 24-hour basis.
The Airport Fire Services staff have been transferred to the Fire Services Department. The Fire, Search, Crash and Rescue Division has accordingly been deleted and the marine staff previously shown under this Division have been included under the Airport Administrative Division.
Under Other Charges Annually Recurrent, the increase under Fuel, light and power is due to the proposed opening of the new Airport Terminal Building during the year.
Under Special Expenditure, provision of $165,000 is made for the installation of "no break" generating equipment with a view to maintaining a high standard of efficiency in the operation of naviga- tional aids at the Airport.

The new posts listed above are required to deal with the increasing volume of work. The new post of Treasury Accountant is offset by the reduction of 1 post under Head 78.
Special expenditure items include $64,000 for the purchase of coding equipment together with $15,000 for the purchase of electric typewriter, gestefax machine and 3 tape recorders. Provision of $5,500 has also been made for one Colony Seal.
