* Approved by Special Warrant during the year.

The Chief Executive Officer post and 4 posts of Executive Grade Officer have been added consequent upon the re-organization of the Executive Grade, the latter 4 posts being part of the leave reserve previous carried in the Treasury establishment. 4 posts of Administrative Officer, 3 of Executive Grade Officer, 6 of Secretary Stenographer, 2 of Confidential Assistant, 9 of Clerk, 1 of Clerical Assistant, 1 of Office Attendant and 1 of Watchman have been provided to cope with the increased volume of work. 33 other posts of Confidential Assistant have been regraded as Secretary Stenographer posts. Two posts of Car Park Attendant have been provided for the overall supervision of the car park at the Central Government Offices. These changes, together with the Salaries Revision, account for the increase of $1,058,500 in the vote for Personal Emoluments.

Under Special Expenditure, provision is made for a new motor despatch van to replace the present vehicle which is approaching the end of its useful life. Provision is also made for the Government art collections.
