In addition to the above staff changes, the revision of salaries for professional and technical officers, internal promotions and normal increments have resulted in an increase of $151,830 in the Personal Emoluments vote. The increase in staff is designed to cope with pro- gressive development of the Airport.
The necessity to keep available adequate stocks of firefighting equipment necessitates the provision of $9,880. $12,500 is provided to allow for the replacement of a Land Rover. The other Special Expenditure items are revotes.
