31.-Reclamation of S. W. corner of Causeway Bay for road widening, $500.-Retention money. This work was completed in 1930.

Various Resumptions for Road widening scheme approved by Govern- ment as rebuilding occurs, $10,000.--As the demolition of old build- ings takes place advantage is taken to resume portions of property required to permit of road widening. This vote provides the neces- sary funds for this purpose.
33.-Resumption of R. N. Canteen on M.L. 65 Sec. B, $77,045.-Com- pensation for buildings on M.L. 55 sec. B (to be paid under agreement half yearly instalments) in connection with the Praya East Reclama-
tion.
34.-Sailors' Home, West Point, M.L. 187a, $180,000.-3rd instalment of compensation money for purchase of M.L. 187A in connection with the removal of the Home to a new site.
35.-Compensation for old buildings required to be removed in order to carry out Arsenal Street improvements, $30,000.-Connected with the Praya East Reclamation layout.

36.-Hung Hom Government Store, $2,000.--This site has been prepared for the New Government store building building plans for which are in preparation.
37.-Kowloon Hospital, Maternity Block, $100,000.-The site is being pre- pared and it is hoped to start building before the end of 1930. The building will be a two storey block containing Ward accommodation. for 6 first class, 4 second class and 24 third class patients together with Duty Rooms, Baths, Kitchens etc.
