CHRONOLOGY OF REMARKABLE EVENTS

Opium Agreement between Hongkong and China came into force, 1887. Anti-foreign riot at Tanyang, 1811. Canton-Samshui Railway completed Burial of Sun Yat Sen, 1929. A system bringing water into the Colony by ships and putting the water into specially erected tanks was begun, 1929.
