KELANTAN
About 230,332 acres were under cultivation in 1916. This comprised 100,900 acres devoted to padi, 36,012 to coconuts, and 69,300 to rubber. The export of rubber in 1916 was over 1,000 tons, as compared with 495 tons in 1915. The export of copra was 59,769 piculs compared with 48,230 in 1915. Among other exports in 1916 were 3,180 head of cattle, 549 sheep and goats, and 6,576 dozen head of poultry. The export of tin-ore in 1916 amounted to 60 piculs against 110 piculs in 1915, and of gold 41 ounces against 993 ounces in 1915.
