Rubber leads in agricultural produce, with a planted area of 173,000 acres. .export of rubber was 12,179 tons against 8,177 in 1915; of gambier, 10,941 piculs against 11,438; and of damar 1,104 piculs against 3,736. The total acreage of mining land was 18,518, the output of tin being 15,240 piculs against 20,900 in 1915, the value of the 1916 .output being returned as $1,336,176. Of wolfram 1,132 piculs were produced in 1916 .and 120 ounces of gold.
