III.-All goods or produce unenumerated in this Tariff shall be free of Export Duty, and shall only be subject to one Inland Tax or Transit Duty, not exceeding the rate now paid.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND SIAM

RELATIVE TO THE REGISTRATION OF BRITISH

SUBJECTS IN SIAM

Signed at Bangkok, November 29th, 1899

The Governments of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Empress of India, and of His Majesty the King of Siam, recognizing the necessity of having a satisfacorty arrangement for the registration of British subjects in Siam, the Undersigned, Her Britannic Majesty's Minister Besident and His Siamese Majesty's Minister for Foreign Affairs, duly authorized to that effect, have agreed as follows:—

Art. I. The registration according to Article V of the Treaty of April 18th, 1855, of British subjects residing in Siam, shall comprise the following categories:

(1.) All British natural born or naturalized subjects, other than those of Asiatic descent.

(2.) All children and grandchildren born in Siam of persons entitled to be registered under the first category, who are entitled to the status of British subjects in contemplation of English law.

Neither great-grandchildren nor illegitimate children born in Siam of persons mentioned in the first category are entitled to be registered. Oogle
