There are some very valuable and extensive coal deposits in the island of Cebu, but the mines have not as yet been worked with any enterprise. The trade in 1892 is represented by the following Agures:-Imports, $165,881; exports, $2,448,433; as compared with $363,685 and $3,638,039 respectively in 1891.
