General o (Chu) Ying Governor of Canton and

of Province of Krantung arrived on 10th December to pay a visit and stayed at Government House. He was extremely friendly and expressed great appreciation for what Hong Kong had already done for Canton. He returned Canton yesterday.

Intend to proceed Canton on December 17th to return his visit and shall stay there 2 nights.
