Dear Mr. Kitson,
I hope you have not thought that my failure to answer your letter of the 12th October before now was due to inattention. But since your letter came we have moved our offices and have not yet finally settled. However, I do want to say that we much appreciate having your comments and we do agree with you, now that the emergency situation has ended, that we should so plan our programmes as to appeal to the widest possible audience.
Our planning for the New Year is going ahead on these lines and of course we hope to have relays from stations in or nearer China, which will both justify and facilitate our aiming at a wider audience. It has already been agreed that the FEB (Far Eastern Bureau) are to relay our 14.30-15.00 GMT transmission daily, starting next Thursday, 1st November.
I do hope that we and meanwhile many thanks
shall meet again from time to time, again for your letter of the 12th.
Yours sincerely,
Gleen Sex
