Excellency's note No. 6976 of the 18th

September stating that Mr. A. J. de

Voogd had been instructed by the

Netherlands Government to proceed to

Hong Kong to take care of Netherlands

interests there pending the re-opening of

the Netherlands Consulate-General there.

I have pleasure in informing Your

Excellency that His Majesty's Government

are prepared to admit Mr. de Voogd to

Hong Kong in the above capacity.
