Commander-in-Chief has asked War Office to do everything possible to enable British and Allied bankers to return to Kongkong at the earliest possible moment.
2. Please therefore do all you can to assist representatives of National City Bank to return, and also acquaint local managers of Chase Bank and American Express with the Commander-in-Chief's attitude to this question.
You should concert any necessary arrangements with Commander-in-Chief direct.
