Thank you for your letter No. PM234 of the 23rd of August about the return of business firms to Hong Kong. You will appreciate that, until the military authorities have had an opportunity to review the situation, there is no advice which I can usefully give you on this matter. Your enquiry will, however, be borne in mind and we will let you know the position as soon as we can.
