(B) Military Information.
The British Commander at Hongkong will furnish to Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek, through General Pan, or other authorised representative, all military information obtained from the Japanese Forces at Hongkong. Specifically, the British Commander in Hongkong will require the Japanese Commander at Hongkong to furnish in duplicate to the British Commander, at or immediately following the Hongkong surrender, all of the information required by the terms of General Order Number One which is to be issued by General Ho as the General- issimo's representative immediately following the Nanking surrender. This General Order Number One is an adaption of the provisions of General Order Number One to be issued by the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, immediately following the overall surrender at Tokyo. Copies of this information will be furnished to General Pan or other authorised representative of the Generalissimo. General Hayes has been furnished a draft copy of the proposed General Order Number One to be issued by General Ho at Nanking (C) Airfield and Port Facilities.
The British Authorities at Hongkong will make available to the Chinese Authorities Airfield and Port facilities at Hongkong required by the Chinese for staging troop movements in the redeployment of Chinese Forces for the occupation of Japan, Formosa, or points on the coast of China and Manchuria. All troops arriving in the Hongkong area will be self-supporting in food.
(D) Japanese Ships.
All Japanese ships captured or taken over by the British in the Hongkong waters are to be turned over to the Chinese. The Chinese will release to Admiral Harcourt, during the period of his need, such shipping as he requires for the rehabilitation of the Port. The ultimate disposal of Japanese shipping will be according to agreements by the powers concerned.
(E) Japanese Motor Transport.
All Japanese Motor Transport equipment captured or taken over by the British at Hongkong will be
