Following sumary of preliminary reports of state of Hong
Kong to dato,
(1)

(A) East corner of North Wall Tidal Basin and all buildings on eastern arm including elctrical shop battery shed and platers shed and Commodore's offices severoly dannged or demolished by air raids,
(B) hjority of borths useable.
(c) Dry dock apparently in good condition but entry partly
obstructed by wrock. Pumping station appears in good condition and Caisson is floating.
(D) Work shops other than in para. (A) above in good order
as well as all other accommodation and offices other than Commodore's offices.
(1) Power supplies are two in number 400 kilowatt dicsol
generators and power also being supplied from Kowloon
(F) Approximately six sunken wrecks in Harbour.

condition H/T supply from Kowloon in operation. Japanese power transmitters intact and in working order.
With assistance Main switchboard intact and working.
of technical experts deened possible to set up high power station in reasonable time.

(c) Armament dopot offices stores and workshops all sound.

(A) Kaitah barracks and airfield in good order. Longost runway 1500 repoated 1500 yards approachos poor.
