Dear Kiss Kason, «

While we do not yet know when it will be possible for British business men to return to the various posts in liberated China, we should be very grateful to receive an early estimate of the numbers of staff of member firms of the China issociation, and any other British business men with China connexions with whom the Association may be in touch, who would wish to return to China as soon as possible, and who would be able to leave at, say, a fortnight's notice. This information would enable us to go into the question of transport facilities with the appropriate department. It will not be necessary to supply names. It would be preferable not to include

Kiss Mason,

The China Association
