Para 1. Following are details of BAAG plans for Hongkong hereafter referred to as operation tidings.

Para 2. Information. Operation will not be launched until it is known that enemy has agreed Hongkong Garrison will capitulate. We shall have at our disposal BAAG plot personnel and essential staff reinforced by certain Kunming Force 136 and our own personnel.

Permission

Intention is that this force will be authorised on official capitulation of Japanese Commander Hongkong and to carry out MI9 duties towards 5000 POWs and internees. It will move to Hongkong by air as soon as possible after

armistice is signed.
