Dear Kitson
»e have received from the Ministry of Information a pamphlet by Dr. Frank Dickinson of Chengtu describing the striking results of his twenty yard work on bressing an improved strain of dairy cattle.. It appears that twenty years ago ho bred an outstanding dairy type bull to native he cows. One of the thi ở generation improved cons from this cross has now produced 13,387 lbs. of milk in one lactation, which, Dr. Dickinson claims, is equal to the complete lactation production of eleven natiw cows and 5,122 lbs. of milk more than the average production of one farm cow in New York, ❤tate.
It certainly sounds 9 creditable achievement; abt you may care to let Dr. Dickinson know that
is pem hlet has been brought to our natice, and thot we have read with interest of the success of his experiment.
Yours sincerely,
a.V. Kitson, lög.,
Chung.-Ing.
