Your telegrams of 11th and 26th January to Great Northern Telegraph Company about Andersen.
Please report whether he
(i) escaped without having informed the Company's local manager of his intention.
(ii) left his wife behind to be supported by the Company in Hong Kong.
(iii) can provide information regarding the Company's financial position; in particular whether it is still able to pay salaries in full or in part or at least a subsistence allowance.
