Following for Joint Staff Mission.
It has been decided to reinforce HONG KONG.
The Canadian Government have generously agreed to despatch
two Canadian battalions at an early date.

You may inform American Chiefs of Staff for their
personal information adding that we hope that this
reinforcement will have a good morel effect both in
China and in Japan.
