In continuation of my despatch No. 55 of the

2nd instant, I have the honour to transmit a list of

Hong Kong evacuees who sailed from Manila for Australia

in Netherlands s.s."Johan de Witt"

Johan de Witt" on August 6th.

The majority of the evacuees on this list are

civilians

but a certain number of military families are also

included.
