A duplicate receipt issued by the bank should be forwarded
(to the Foreign Exchange Examination Committee) together with
the application.
ARTICLE 4.-- The Foreign Exchange Examination Committee,
after receiving applications referred to in the preceding
Article, shall number them in accordance with the order in
which they are received.
The acknowledgment form should be stamped with the date of
its receipt and returned to the applicant for preservation.
In case of future inquiries, the above-mentioned number
and date should be indicated.
ARTICLE 5.- After the applications are examined by the
Foreign Exchange Examination Committee, the original copy there-
of shall be preserved by the Committee and two duplicate copies
shall be forwarded by the Committee to the bank concerned and
the Customs Import Office for examination.
The Committee shall fill out a Special Notification
authorizing purchase of foreign exchange. The notification
shall be made out in three identical copies and forwarded to
the original applicant, the Customs Import Office and a speci-
ally designated bank for attention.
In case applications are rejected by the Foreign Exchange
Examination Committee, the Committee shall so notify the
original applicant and the bank concerned. The bank, after
receiving the notification, shall immediately return the legal
tender notes previously received (from the applicant) to the
applicant.
ARTICLE 6.- The applicant, after receiving the Special
Notification authorizing the purchase of foreign exchange, shall
apply to the specially designated bank for the purchase of
foreign exchange within the period of validity stipulated in the
notification. He shall also deposit the notification in the bank.
However, the foreign exchange so purchased shall continue
to be deposited in the original bank and may not be used
