You are authorized to inform Japanese that

disposition of British Troops after withdrawal of

Durham Light Infantry will be Tientsin one company

(less one platoon) East Surrey Regiment and a small

number of ancillary details. Peking one platoon East

Surrey Regiment. You should also infom Japanese that

a considerable amount of surplus stores and equipment will

be withdrawn and express hope that railway facilities

will be made available.
