Withdrawal of gunboats from Chinese waters.
Refers to Foreign office letter of 8th November (F 11376/3918/10). Admiralty are in entire agreement with Foreign Office views as to disposal of gunboats which remain in Chinese waters.
Gives details of instructions which it is proposed to issue immediately in connexion with withdrawal.
Enquires whether Foreign Office desire any special instructions to be given to the Commander-in-Chief in regard to the communication of the decision to withdraw the three gunboats from Japanese controlled waters.
