Hy dear Vice-Minister,
On the 19th April I wrote to Your
Excellency inviting you to be so good as to cause the issue to the Japanese military authoritics in the neighbourhood of Hong Kong
of instructions to cooperate with the British
authorities in arranging for the release of
cert in Chinese soldiers now interned in Hong
Kong who are incapable of further military
service.
As I have not as yet had any reply from
Your Excellency on the matter, I should be
grateful if I might now be informed whether
His Excellency
Mr. Kenzo Sawada,
His Imperial Japanese Majesty's
Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs.
