February 26th 1939.
Dear sir,
#
I wrote to you about 15 days ago, saying that ·
the Government of China, through its National Agricultural
Research Bureau, had asked me to renew my efforts to find
for them a veterinary officer of wide Asiatic or African
experience for very responsible duty. I corresponded with
several officers under the Colonial Office in 1936 and 1937
on this subject, but am not sure whom I should approach in
the first place. The letter which I sent to you has not been
answered, and I should be very glad if you would assist me.
Reference may be made to the Chinese Ambassador if necessary,
but you will no doubt be willing to help China through this
more direct channel.
Yours truly,
(Sgd) C.F. stricklena.
