Encloses copies of aide-mémoire from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, pointing out Japanese interest in Ching Kee Steam Navigation Company Limited, and expressing hope that Supreme Court of Hong Kong will not dispose of the case on basis of the judgment of Court of Chungking, (2) letter of 13th May from M. Kurihara, East Asiatic Bueaau, transmitting aide-mémoire, (3) letter of 13th May to M. Kurihara explaining position and stating that Court at Hong Kong will no doubt take matters mentioned into careful consideration.
