Chinese foreign policy: attitude in view of European situation.

Addressed Shanghai No.526. New international situation has created much perplexity in Chungking. Describes the various sections of opinion all of which are offering advice to Chiang Kai shek. Largest section whose views are nearest those of Chiang Kai shek feel that China should keep in close touch with Great Britain and France. Russian communists are causing anxiety and local Communist paper is becoming increasing unfriendly towards Great Britain.
