At about 11.15 hours on the 2nd February, 1939, Sergeant korrison, Lance Sergeant A04, observed motor lorry ko.5029 (United elivery) draw up close to the burbed wire opposite the Blockhouse. Six Chinese males alighted, one went into Chinese Territory, and later returned with

a chinese ollommen. Enquiries were made as to where the load was going, and it was found that the load was going

into Chinese Tarritory. Coolies were engaged to carry the goods, consisting of four large mcking cases, and three smaller ones. There were tan oun>-beds and bedding and

household effects.

It was noticed that the goods were being placed im a newly constructed house directly opposite the Blockhouse in Chinese Territory. Further enquiries were made and the ouses were found to contain a #ireless Trummitting und Receiving et also six large batteries, and one lonelite Engine for charging batteries. The set was assembled and

It is a twin serial transmitting set, and oun tranamif to any part of China, being equal in power to the Shat Chun Trummmitters, it is powered by six batteries and a trana- former. Transmission is on three wave lengths 24.5 metres, 50 metres, and 73 metres. Station call sign is 7.5. The

set is owned by the Centr 1 Government, and is kucing tue place of one destroyed by Japanese at Bias Bay. It is to be used for transmitting information regarding Jaunese moverenta in surrɔunding districts,
